Copics and Spectrum Noir comparison

Good day everyone!

I would like to share an image that I colored with copics and spectrum noir just to see if there will be a big difference. First and foremost, this topic is definitely base in my own opinion and capabilities in coloring. I am not an expert in coloring, in fact I just started using markers few months ago. I bought the complete set of spectrum noir since its the cheapest marker out there and 40  copics for the starter.

So here it is. Don’t mind the grass. Lol I’m still practicing to make a better one..

Can you tell which one is colored with copics and spectrum noir? In this image, I love the result I got in spectrum noir. In my opinion.

I tried to use the colors that is closest that I can compare to copics.

Copics that I used for the left image:

Now, I can’t wait to make this into card.

That’s all for now.. Thanks for stopping by!

Copics and Spectrum Noir Storage (cost me nothing)

Hello Everyone!

This is how I stored my markers. I have 168 spectrum noir, 41 copics and 6 copics refills. Ive been looking for the DIY storage or cheaper alternative. I’d rather buy more markers than buying the storage. :D

So anyhow, as I was cleaning the house. I found lots of empty boxes behind the couch (that’s where I usually put some of my stuff that I don’t want to be seen by hubby) I’m sort of a hoarder and yes even empty boxes. You’ll never know it will come handy in the future. Lol so, I was thinking to myself maybe I could try to use them for the storage. It’s pretty much sturdy and when I assemble them, the markers fits perfectly! I went ahead and assemble 12 boxes.

To put this together, I used red duct tape which I have on hand. And tape it all around. I folded one big box for the bottom to give it a better foundation.

Voila! my storage markers that cost me nothing!

That’s all for now. Thanks for stopping by!

Mini Easel Card tutorial

In this tutorial I used spellbinder nestabilities labels twenty-two.
Lots of pictures showing you step-by-step on making this mini.

First you need a cardstock measuring 4 “ X 8.5 “ for the base.

Fold cardstock in half. For the die, I used the second largest label. Then place a removable tape to secure the die.

This what it looks like from the other side

A closer look.

Then I ran it through my Big shot.
Here is the final cut look like.

Fold the top card in half as shown below.

This is the base of the card. Side View.

using same size of your card base label, cut 1 full piece.
Place some glue on the front half of the folded section as shown below.

Place the full piece over the glue.

There you have your easel card base!
